A UK CAA Part 21 Subpart J approved design organisation
SWS is approved by the UK Civil Aviation Authority and works hard to maintain its DOA status, regularly audited internally and by the CAA to meet required airworthiness and safety standards.
SWS are approved for designing and certifying changes and repairs to aircraft in avionics, installation of avionics electrical systems, structures, cabin interiors and environmental control systems, covering CS-23, CS-25, CS-27 and CS-29 products.
As a Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation, SWS can perform design activities, produce compliance documents for STCs, classify and approve minor changes and repairs, issue technical information under its DOA authority, and approve minor revisions to flight manuals.
